Writing Challenge 004

Beginning with the buildings that you will like to see, the first building would be the Willis Tower. It was formerly known as the Sears Tower and it is the second tallest building in the United States. Next building in Chicago that is popular is named the John Hancock Center. This building offers a better Skydeck than the Willis Tower because it is closer to Lake Michigan. Lastly, walking on Michigan Avenue close to the Chicago River you will notice the Tribune Tower. This amazing historical landmark was rebuilt from the Chicago Fire and it is the headquarters for journalism, media, and other communication businesses. While enjoying these remarkable buildings, you can try Chicago’s best food.

The types of food that are served in Chicago are delectable. The pizzas in Chicago are made in different ways that each has their own flavor. One of my favorite places is Pequod’s Pizza and the pizzas are just made to perfection. Hot dogs are another type of food famous in Chicago. They are sold in Portillo’s, Superdawg, Jimmy’s Red Hots, and other small venues. They are made in a specific way, but most importantly, they should never be eaten with ketchup. The other type of food that you should try are the tacos. The ingredients are fresh and natural. The meat is so juicy and rich with flavor and the tortillas are handmade and so soft like a blanket. After viewing all these fantastic buildings and eating all this incredible food, it is time to visit Chicago’s well-known museums.

Chicago has various museums for art, culture, history, science, archaeology, and nature. One of the museums that has most of these characteristics in one location is the Field Museum. The exhibits consist of dinosaurs, mummies, animals and gems. The other museum that a lot of residents call their favorite is the Museum of Science and Industry. There are displays of storms, submarines, trains, climate change, new inventions, and outer space. Also, I will not forget to mention Chicago’s famous Shedd Aquarium. Filled with mass kinds of fish and lizards, it is also home to penguins and dolphins. The Caribbean Reef is my favorite because you can witness actual sharks and stingrays swimming together while surrounded by colorful and creepy-looking fish. You will not be disappointed when you visit these spectacular museums and these are just three out of dozens of museums Chicago has.
